PREAMBLE

            Unity Children Mission is a passion driven community initiative founded by concerned community members to intervene on the limited opportunities facing slum children.

            What started as a community response to mitigate the exponentiating nature of child negligence, abuse and abandonment among majority of slum children has turned out to be an unprecedented all around initiative for their educational and socio-economic development.  This is through a 3-grid twinned programme all targeting the abused and marginalized slum children. That is, education, counseling and innovative skills development.

Our aim is improving the livelihoods of slum children through education, counseling and innovative skills development.

            Our endeavor to achieve our vision is through existing to share any available resources for wholistic development in the target slum.

OUR VISION

            Our vision is to be a positive role model in guiding and counseling slum communities towards improving their living stands through investing in their young ones.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

v  Advocacy for slum child empowerment through education.

v  Rescue missions for abused and vulnerable children.

v  Community outreach activities i.e. anti-drugs campaigns.

v  Support the rescued children through community doorstep support centre.

v  Teaching the community about the Innovative Mastered skills in Development of Entrepreneurship.
